Research Psychiatric Center is a 95+ bed facility. We offer acute inpatient, day treatment, and community-based outpatient behavioral healthcare. Responsibilities
The Adjunctive Therapist provides the core of programming by facilitating therapeutic individual and group sessions offered to the patients. The Adjunctive Therapist’s responsibilities in the following area includes individual/group sessions daily focusing on coping skills, socialization, and activities
Job Requirements
Qualifications
What qualifications you will need:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation Therapy, Music Therapy or Master’s Degree in Art Therapy are required
- Certification as specified below:
- Music Therapist:
- Board Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC)—passed the national board certification exam
- Art Therapist:
- Registered Art Therapist (ART)
- Art Therapist Registered-Board Certified (ART-BC)
- Licensed Professional Art Therapist
- Recreational Therapist certification within 90 days of hire.
- Therapeutic Recreation Certification
- National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification (NCTRC)
- Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS)
- BLS required upon hire
- CPI within 90 days of hire
